Press Release Body: Vp plc, the equipment rental specialist, today announces that it\'s Hire Station division has acquired the tools and telehandler fleet of UCS Plant Limited, part of Rand Group Limited (\'Rand\'), for a consideration of £0.9m.

In addition, Hire Station has entered into a three year sole supply agreement with Rand\'s subsidiaries UCS Civils and Linpave Building to hire a range of tools and other specialist equipment.

The acquired business will be located at Rand Group\'s premises near Lincoln.
